Libyan leader al-Kadhafi has been in touch with Meshal of Hamas, Ben Ali of Tunisia wrote he is satisfied with al-Megrahi's release

After the release by Scottish authorities of al-Megrahi, the Libyan press news agency JANA announced the following:

Head of Hamas Political Bureau Khalid Meshal congratulates the leader on the Blessed Ramadan

Head of Hamas Political Bureau , "Khalid Meshal" conducted a phone call Sunday evening with the leader of the Revolution, Chairman of the AU in which he congratulated the leader on the blessed month of Ramadan.

The leader receives cable of congratulations from President Ben Ali on return home of Abdel-Basset al-Megrahi

The leader of the revolution, Chairman of the AU received a cable of congratulations from Tunisian President , Zaine El-Abdien Ben Ali on the return of brother, Abdel- Basset Al- Megrahi to Great Jamahiriya.

The cable reads:

Brother leader, Muammar al-Gathafi, leader of the Revolution.

We received with great satisfaction the news of the release of Abdel-Basset al-Megrahi and his return to Great Jamahiriya.

On this occasion, we share the Libyan people sentiments of joy for the end of this painful situation and we express to your brothers and to Abdel-Basset al-Megrahi and his family out sincere congratulations, wishing him the best of health .
