International diplomats: No agreement at Security Council on issuing a joint statement regarding Syria

Diplomats stated on Wednesday that the 15 members of the International Security Council didn't reach an agreement on issuing a joint statement regarding Syria.

AFP quoted the diplomats as saying that Russia and China rejected a draft statement presented by Britain, France, Germany and Portugal regarding Syria.
