Significant progress is achieved in course of Ukrainian-Russian negotiations

In course of the meeting between Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin held in Residence “Rus’” in Zavidovo, Tver region, wide range of Ukrainian-Russian bilateral cooperation issues including the issue of transit and gas supply has been discussed.

“Significant progress has been achieved during negotiations that brings hope for reaching concrete results in the interests of both states at an early date,” noted President Viktor Yanukovych.

Decision on holding the regular meeting of Russian-Ukrainian Interstate Commission in Ukraine this October has also been taken during the negotiations.
