Leaders of major oil corporations - Chevron (U.S.) and Total (France) will visit Turkmenistan in the near future. As the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat, this was reported by Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan Baymurad Hodzhamuhamedov at a regular meeting of the Turkmen government.

According to him, issues of participation of these companies in development of the energy sector of Turkmenistan will be discussed in detail at the upcoming talks. In particular, during the visit the sides will discuss prospects of work of Chevron and Total in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, Hodzhamuhamedov said.

"Turkmenistan has positive experience of cooperation with these companies. At this stage, these relationships become rather specific.
